Church during a pandemic

Not gonna lie going to church during a pandemic is a lot different then before a pandemic.  It's been  about a month or 2 since I've been active on Blogger. IF I had been  it would be filled with weekly conversations with my grandma who I thought was only going to last a few weeks cause of cancer but god has blessed her to keep chugging along. Another thing I'd write about is How much I want Covid to have a vaccine or to vanish . As well as preparing for my senior year of high school.  Not to mention,  the many stories I have about working in the fast food industry.

My sleep schedule has been wack since the pandemic started and with school starting in a week , It's a good time to start planning sleep schedule and pulling out the melatonin pills and gummies. During summer I'd stay up until around 4 am and only sleep till noon or for four hours. I set my alarm last night for 8:15 so I could get ready for church . And I lied down around 3 am after a couple games of scrabble as well as holding onto the last weekend I could stay up late . My insomnia beat me up until 4 am though and I remember around 2:45 I took a melatonin gummy . Somehow during the night , I unplugged my alarm clock. I don't even remember that I did. It wasn't until 8:55 that I was dragged out of bed . I quickly put on my clothes and mask and we packed into the car for church.

We went to the wrong entrance for church but eventually found the right entrance. Families were seated a row away from each other and everyone over the age of 8 was wearing a mask. It was hard 4 months ago to make my 9 year old brother with a brain of a first grader and low functioning autism to wear a mask. Overtime it grew on him but he had trouble covering his nose. There was no microphone available so we sat at the front cause my dad is half deaf but I have 20/20 hearing yet I still need glasses to read and to type . After we sit down I scan to see if I can see any of my friends I saw a few people but they didn't notice me until we left the chapel. As we were given the sacrament , the priests stood a few feet away with the bread and water . We listened to hymns . Also depending on how big your ward is the last names beginning with A-J meet on the first and 3rd sunday. K-Z met on the 2nd and 4th sunday . Sometimes the arrangement would differ if there was a fast sunday.
